| For eighteen years Chris Heimerdinger has brought adventure and fantasy to LDS readers. Best-selling author of over 800,000 books, Chris is most well known for his Tennis Shoes Adventure Series. His success in the publishing industry began with books that are based on the events that originate from the Latter-Day Saints Book of Mormon. His first novel, Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites, published in 1989, continues to thrill readers young and old. Few people know that filmmaking was Chris’ major at Brigham Young University and is currently venturing into LDS films with a near release this Fall, Passage to Zarahemla. A movie based off his book Passage to Zarahemla. The film itself includes the most visual effects of any LDS film ever and was filmed primarily in Leeds, Utah.
